'I have been in dentistry for nearly 30 years. My career started as a dental nurse, and in 1989 I gained the National Certificate in Dental Nursing.
I then applied to the Institute of Dental Health and Training at RAF Halton where I was accepted as a civilian. I completed the course in December 1991 and received my Certificate in Proficiency of Dental Hygiene.
I aim to treat my patients with care, gentleness whilst respecting and understanding their needs and concerns. I enjoy my job and find it very rewarding,
I attend courses and read journals to increase my knowledge and to support my continuing professional development.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys, socialising with friends, exercising and cooking.'
